Did you know?
Job-seeking, they say is a full-time job. More and more, companies and organisations are using Artificial Intelligence (AI) in their recruitment process.
I’m sure we all have, at least once, sought employment in a big company or organisation, where we were required to submit our files online, either via email or a recruitment portal on an online job board or website.
Do you know that for Organisation that use AI to screen applicants, about 90% of files are rejected even before a human ever get to take a look? If you have ever submitted an application online and got no call for interviews, then you are probably one of those constituting the 90% rejected by what is known as the Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
The ATS is a software, used more and more by recruiters, to reduce the task of reviews and screening applications. I’m sure most of us never knew this before, but I assure you, every time to submit an application online, there are chances your file gets screen using this software, and there is a 90% risks no one gets to see your application, if it doesn’t meet the requirements of an ATS.
Next time, if you get to apply for a position in an organisation online, think of the ATS as you craft your CV or Resume.
